Our Background
Family-owned and operated business since 1991. Jake and Anita Lovato started with Jake Lovato Trucking and have seen continued growth in services with the addition of JJ Excavation, Inc. and AGL Wood Products. We have been privileged to partner with many local and federal government agencies and have built a reputation for quality work and excellent work ethic. In addition, we have provided services to many private landowners within and outside of New Mexico. We strive to maintain professional working relationships and respect all clients great or small, and value each of our customers. We look forward to working with you!

Exceeding Your Expectations
Trucking Services
Our fleet includes tandem dump trucks, tractors and heavy hauler. Hauling capabilities for heavy equipment, dry materials, and non-potable water. We proudly maintain hauling authority within the lower 48 states.
Excavation and Dirtwork
"We can dig it!" is our motto at JJ Excavation, Inc. With light to heavy equipment, we can tackle just about any project. Our operators are some of the best around and have been recognized for their skill, respect, and great work ethic.
Wildfire Support Services
What started out with Jake and his single tractor and custom made water tender helping to fight the Cerro Grande Fire in Los Alamos, NM has now become one of the most recognized businesses for partnering with the USFS to provide support services for fire fighting hand crews, engines and helitack crews.
Forestry Support Services
We proudly offer support to local and federal government agencies along with local landowners to appropriately manage our forests to promote vegetation growth, comfortable animal habitat, and prevent wildfires due to overgrowth.
Seasonal Snow Removal Services
Snow removal services have been a core service at JJ Excavation, Inc. We have partnered with several local governments to provide emergency snow removal for businesses and residents within various communities. In addition, we offer seasonal contracts for guaranteed service and priority during the winter months.
Ranch Development
Our team has proudly partnered with several private landowner within New Mexico, Colorado and Oregon to develop their properties. From road building and repair to building several stock ponds with circulating water pumps, our guys have the knowledge, expertise and experience to accomplish just about any goal or vision our clients have.
Projects
Our company has a diverse background not only for the services we provide, but also for our broad spectrum of clients. As mentioned previously, we hold contracts with government agencies locally and federally and have worked with some large organizations within the US. However, we take great pride in the resource we have become to our Northern New Mexico community, our local landowners as well as other private landowners outside of New Mexico.
